But when he realises that you are a renegade that could be potentially beneficial to his agenda, he quickly jumps at the opportunity of him acquiring more sorcery scrolls to study and creates a covenant with you. You ask him to learn sorceries, but he's services come at a cost. You are to obtain sorcery scrolls in order for him to teach you what is in them. (MAKE SURE TO GIVE HIM AT LEAST 1 SCROLL BEFORE YOU BEAT THE ABYSS WATCHERS BOSS FIGHT, OR HE WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THE GAME, CANCELLING HIS QUEST FOR THIS PLAYTHROUGH). This is optional, but when he is at Firelink, buy 3 sorceries off him then speak to him to acquire the Young Dragon Ring, if you do not already have it by not starting as a Sorcerer.
